Satori was established in 2005 by PureTech Ventures, Dr. Mark Findeis, and a group of renowned Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative disease experts.
It is with a mixture of great affection and profound sadness that we remember Dr. Thomas Salzmann, who passed away in October 2009. Tom was the chairman of our Board of Directors, and also sat on our Scientific Advisory Board. His contributions to our research and to this company were many, and we will be forever grateful to him. He was a great friend, and a truly great human being. He will be deeply missed.
